1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Alori, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Have read and understood these Terms
• Agree to be bound by these Terms
• Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Alori is a period and cycle tracking application that allows you to:

• Log menstrual periods, symptoms, and related health information
• Receive predictions about future cycles based on your logged data
• Track fertility indicators if trying to conceive
• Monitor pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and perimenopause
• Store encrypted notes and personal observations
• Export data for personal use or sharing with healthcare providers
• Access educational content about menstrual health

3. Not Medical Advice

Alori provides general information and tools for tracking your menstrual cycle. However:

• The App is NOT a medical device
• Predictions are estimates based on your historical data and may not be accurate
• The App should NOT be used as a contraceptive method
• The App should NOT be used to diagnose or treat medical conditions
• Information in the education library is for general knowledge only
• Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns

We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the App. If you experience unusual symptoms or have health concerns, seek medical attention promptly.

4. User Accounts

Alori does not require you to create an account. The App is designed to work fully offline without any registration. This means:

• You do not need to provide an email address or personal information
• Your data is stored locally on your device
• If you lose your device or uninstall the App, your data cannot be recovered by us
• You are responsible for backing up your data if desired (e.g., via device backups)

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Features

Alori offers a free tier that includes basic period tracking, predictions, widgets, and app security features.

5.2 Alori Pro Subscription

Alori Pro is a premium subscription that unlocks additional features including:

• Unlimited cycle history
• Advanced insights and analytics
• TTC, Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Perimenopause modes
• Full import/export capabilities
• Partner sharing and family mode
• Priority support
• Early access to new features

5.3 Pricing

Current subscription options:

• Monthly: $4.99 USD per month
• Yearly: $34.99 USD per year (42% savings)

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Current prices are always displayed in the App before purchase.

5.4 Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

5.5 Billing

All subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of service for in-app purchases. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

5.6 Renewal and Cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5.7 Refunds

Refund requests must be made through Apple. We do not process refunds directly. Visit Apple's support page or contact Apple directly for refund inquiries.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Alori only for its intended purpose. You may NOT:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Community Guidelines

If you use community features (anonymous posting, discussions), you agree to:

• Be respectful of other users
• Not post harmful, abusive, or harassing content
• Not share medical advice as if you were a healthcare professional
• Not post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
• Not share personally identifiable information about yourself or others
• Not post illegal content or content that violates others' rights

We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access to community features for users who violate these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

Alori and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Use our name, logo, or trademarks without permission
• Copy or reproduce any part of the App
• Create derivative works based on the App

You retain ownership of any data you enter into the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or completeness of predictions
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or that predictions will be accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Personal injury or emotional distress
• Any damages resulting from reliance on predictions or information in the App
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
